She is so desperate for relief from her painful punani, she'll do whatever the sangoma says.
AND THE SANGOMA TELLS HER SHE HAS TO DRINK GEORGE'S FIRST PEE OF THE DAY - FOR SIX WEEKS!
"It's terrible to think of drinking someone's urine but I have suffered enough," said Maria.
"I need to be free of the pain I endure every day. "I am ready to drink George's pee if it means my punani can be freed."Daily Sun told Maria's story when she claimed her boyfriend George had "locked" her.
She said if she went with another man she got blisters on and around her private parts.
When Daily Sun went to the house of Maria Bowa (45) from Alexandra, Joburg on Sunday she was clearly in pain.
The SunTeam helped to take her to the home of famous sangoma Nokuthula Mofammere for consultation. Her boyfriend, George Saidi (56) was also there.
Inside Nokuthula's indumba, Maria showed the sangoma, George and the SunTeam where George had put muthi by cutting her next to her punani.
"I still love you, George. I'm happy to be your second wife," she told George. "But this hurts. Please free me from this agony." Sangoma Nokuthula told Maria the ancestors were angry because she didn't wait to perform a ritual before sleeping with another man after her husband died.
She said it will depend whether George is willing to help his girlfriend.
"She will start with drinking her boyfriend's urine. "Maria must also get muthi to drink and to wash herself with," said the sangoma. She said George was greedy by locking his nyatsi while he went on to enjoy life with his wife, and Maria couldn't get a boyfriend. George agreed to give Maria the urine.
The first time the SunTeam spoke to George's wife, known only as Christina, she confirmed she had planned to lock George's nyatsi.
At the time George said his wife had said he could have a nyatsi. "But she had to be locked so she didn't bring disease into our house," he said.
