Exams for non-final years suspended - CPUT

All students are required to vacate the university residences immediately

In light of ongoing protest action across CPUT campuses, Management have taken a number of decisions regarding exams, these include:

1.All students are required to vacate the university residences immediately or no later than 16:00on Wednesday 18th November 2015- if immediate plans cannot be arranged.

2. The assessments for non-exit level courses will remain suspended until 11 January 2016 and students will be notified of all logistical arrangements in due course.

3. Faculties will communicate with individual students with regards to alternative assessment processes.

4. Those students who are writing exit level subjects will receive notification by 20 November to advise them of the revised examination dates.

Staff have also been asked to stay away on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November. We hope to return to work on Thursday 19 November. Any changes will be communicated to staff and students via their staff email and our web and social media pages.
