#HandsOffJoburg: Judgment reserved in the DA’s fight for rule of law to be upheld in the City Council

Judgment has been reserved in the DA's court action to overturn the unlawful City of Johannesburg Council Meeting that saw the unprocedural removal of Mayor Mpho Phalatse.

This court action is a fight for the rule of law, a fight for the rights of the six million residents of Johannesburg and a fight against the coalition of corruption, hellbent on looting the coffers of the City of Johannesburg.

We therefore await the court judgment and regardless of the outcome, the DA will stick to its principles and values and whether that be as part of a governing coalition or from the opposition benches, the DA will do what is in the best interests of the City's residents.
