PRESIDENT ZUMA APPOINTS MDDA BOARD MEMBERS

President Jacob Zuma has in terms of Section 4 (1) (b) of the Media Development and Diversity Agency (Act No 14 of 2002) and Section 4 (1) (c) of the Act appointed the following five new Board members for a term of office of three years:

1. Mr Phenyo Nonqane
2. Ms Rene Alicia Smith
3. Mr Jimmy Manyi
4. Mr Thato Mahapa
5. Ms Ingrid Louw

"We wish the new members well in the execution of their new duties.

They have a lot of challenges ahead as they seek to build a diverse media environment that is a true reflection of all South Africans," said President Zuma.
