Supporters asked to light a candle for Israel

Defend Embrace Invest in and Support Israel (DEISI) International is encouraging Christians to a light candle for the peace of Jerusalem

This week the enemies of truth and fairness have organized a targeted campaign of lies and deceit against the land of Israel and her people. All over the world, this campaign has been themed "Israel Apartheid week". As Christians we are compelled to stand in defence of truth. We also recognize the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel) as our God and so have an obligation to stand in defence of Israel and her people.

As a symbol of solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters we would like to invite all Christians to light a candle in your homes, communities and places of worship. We ask that you pray for the darkness of lies and deceit to be dispelled that you pray for the protection and peace of Jerusalem, the Lord of Israel and her people all over the world. 

Members of DEISI International, particularly its youth recently visited Israel on a fact finding mission, are going to be campaigning in full force this week to bring the truth about Israel's democracy to ordinary people's attention.
