Mnyaka to be the face of the BMF
Tembakazi Mnyaka, the Deputy President of the Black Management Forum (BMF) announced on Sunday 6th March that, "at the board meeting held in Johannesburg yesterday, the President of the BMF, Jimmy Manyi proposed to the board that due to his high pressured responsibilities as both the CEO of Government Communication & Information System (GCIS) and Cabinet spokesperson it was in the best interest of all parties for him to relinquish most of his BMF responsibilities to me, his deputy, in order to provide more focus to his National duty in government".
Mnyaka said details of the delegated work will still be worked out but will certainly begin with her resuming the role of chief spokesperson of the BMF with immediate effect.
Mnyaka said, "the board accepted Manyi's proposal and expressed its appreciation and confidence in his leadership."
"The BMF board also expressed confidence in its Deputy President Mnyaka and pledged its full support", said Nomhle Nkumbi-Ndopu the managing director.
"It is hoped that this move will engender a smooth exit of Manyi in October 2012", added Mnyaka
