MAX OZINSKY ON SOAPBOX AGAIN

Ozinsky is on his soapbox again. His allegations regarding former Speaker Esau are groundless albeit unsurprising given the complete lack of respect and contempt Mr. Ozinsky has, on occasion, shown this House. Mr. Esau decided to step down for medical reasons because he knew that he would not be able to perform the duties required of the Speaker.

The DA would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Richard Majola as the new Speaker of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament. We have full confidence in his abilities. His track record and experience over the last two and a half years speak for itself : there is no doubt that he is the best person for the job.
