New DA Federal Youth Leadership

On behalf of the Democratic Alliance,  I am delighted today to announce the new DA Youth leadership elected today at the DA Youth Federal Congress.

They are:

DA Federal Youth Leader

Mbali Ntuli, 25 years old from KwaZulu-Natal

DA Federal Youth Chairperson

Yusuf Cassim, 23 years old from the Eastern Cape

DA Federal Youth Training and Development Chairperson

Tertus Simmers, 30 years old from the Western Cape

DA Youth Media and Publicity Chairperson

Thorne Godinho, 21 years old from Gauteng

This robust election demonstrates the enthusiasm in which young people are participating in the Democratic Alliance. While the elections were tightly contested, the outcome was accepted because it was conducted in a free, open and fair manner. It proves that the DA's internal democracy is strong.

I am confident that this team of leaders will help the DA in winning many more young and first time voters in election 2014.
