On SARS' auction of the Sandown Estate house - Julius Malema

I have no dealings with the buyer and no business, personal, or political association with him

STATEMENT BY JULIUS MALEMA ON THE SARS' AUCTION OF THE HOUSE IN SANDOWN ESTATE, SANDTON:

10 May 2013

I have since the auction of the house received several media enquiries and questions on the circumstances relating to the money SARS is said to be recovering through public auction of my private properties and goods. As I have said to all media people who have called me, I will make a statement on all these developments at the appropriate moment, which will not be later than July 2013. This will help to explain many vexed questions in the minds of South Africans, in particular Economic Freedom Fighters who have called to understand what exactly is happening.

I however want to place it on record that I completely have no dealings with the buyer of the house in Sandown, and have no business, personal, or political association with him as insinuated by the lousy and not so credible Gupta newspaper. I congratulate him on his purchase and wish him well on everything good that he does.

Contrary to what political detractors are aiming to achieve, I am in a better space, not at all devastated by the recent developments, and the statement I will make at the appropriate time will give context and clarity to what has thus far transpired.
