SACP Mpumalanga Provincial Executive Committee Media Statement
30 September 2013
The SACP Mpumalanga Provincial Executive Committee 5th plenary session of the 08th Congress met on the 29 September at Mbombela Local Municipality, Council Chamber to assess its progress on implementing the resolutions of previous PEC meeting and give content of the current political discourse provincially, nationally and globally.
The meeting received two political inputs from the 1st Deputy Provincial Secretary, Cde Lucky Mbuyane and Deputy National Chairperson, Cde Thulas Nxesi where both inputs touched many issues and amongst other matters the PEC noted the following:
The PEC noted that Capitalism is in crisis hence its highest stage which is Imperialism is being rejected by people throughout the world, including its epicentre the European Union.
The Syrian question opens our mind in how David Cameron was embarrassed thus made his counterpart, the master imperialist Barak Obama to avoid the same embarrassment by not taking the matter to US congress. The western imperialist continue to fund bandits across the globe and instigate coups for their selfish interest of looting resources.
