Pieter Mulder walks out of Agriculture budget debate
Yesterday the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Freedom Front Plus leader, Pieter Mulder, walked out of the National Assembly during the vote on the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Medium Term Budget adjustments.
The rest of the Freedom Front Plus members voted against the budget adjustment.
If the Deputy Minister had reservations about the budget, why did he not take it up with his colleague, Minister Tina Joemat-Pettersson?
It is interesting that Mulder chooses to be part of the decision making process in the executive, but wears a different hat in Parliament and disagrees with the same process he was a part of.
He should provide an explanation for these actions.
