Daily Sun (September 25 2013) - THE BISHOP hadn't seen his father for 60 years . . . So he asked the People's Paper for help. AND WITHIN DAYS, BISHOP ELHUS KHUMALO WAS REUNITED WITH HIS FATHER!
"God has worked wonders through this paper!" said the Bishop (62) of the Esiphambanweni Zion Christian Church, as he sat with his father Samson Khumalo.
It all started when prophets told Bishop Khumalo to search for his father. This was when his life was difficult and things weren't going well at his church.
"They told me everything would improve if I found my father," said the bishop, who lives in Pienaar, outside Mbombela, Mpumalanga, "But I doubted he was still alive," said Khumalo.
"And then, as soon as the story was out, I received a call. It was miraculous," said the rejoicing bishop. "I don't know how to thank Daily Sun. I wish them all the best in everything they do."
Gauteng social worker Tsakani Ngobeni told the paper she immediately recognised Mkhulu Samson in Daily Sun. "I knew him from one of the old age homes in Boksburg," she said. Ngobeni contacted the People's Paper and helped reunite father and son.
