Daily Sun (March 23 2015) - FOR MORE than a year, Susan suffered torture, trauma and pain at the hand of an evil tokoloshe.
The church responded to her desperate call for divine intervention but the creature is too strong for just one minister.
NOT ONE, NOT TWO, BUT SIX PASTORS CAME TO HER RESCUE!
Daily Sun, along with about 200 residents and churchgoers, witnessed the struggle to remove the tokoloshe from 52-year-old Susan Nkuni's shack in Malaje squatter camp, Lanseria, outside Joburg.
Two pastors were seen rushing forward, trying to wrap up the tokoloshe but it was difficult to catch. The pastors said the creature was rushing from one place to another. An unidentified woman allegedly left the shack earlier with a bag but nobody knew what was in it. Pastors fear it may have contained the tokoloshe. A small tortoise, wrapped in a child's black underwear, was found in another bag and removed by the pastors.
It is not certain if the evil tokoloshe has been defeated or if it will come back again.
Susan told Daily Sun a story of abuse and terror.
"For a year now the tokoloshe has come into my bedroom and forced itself into me. When I refuse, it gives me hot klaps. I wake up every morning with a swollen face," she said.
The cruel work of the tokoloshe isn't limited to the bedroom.
"I used to fight with my children every day for no reason. There was always tension in the house and I don't know what caused it. I loved my children but sometimes I hated them," she said.
Pastor Sean Ncube from the Holy Spirit Church in Lanseria said Susan came to the church a year ago and told them about her problems at home.
"She came to us in tears asking us to help her get the tokoloshe out of her shack, so we decided to help her," he said.
Ncube said he asked other churches to help fight the tokoloshe. He also got permission from community leaders and the police to go into the yard.
He said now that the tokoloshe has been removed from the yard, they will pray for Susan and her family.
"We will ask God to bring Susan's family together," he said.
Pastor Never Nkomo from the United Apostolic Church in Zion said when he and the other pastors heard about Susan's problems they fasted for four days, asking God's power to help Susan.
"We were happy that she has committed herself to God who will deliver her from all evil."
Nelson Manyuwa, a community leader, said he knew about Susan's problems. "I have been at her house several times to resolve disputes with her children.
"Susan lived a painful life. When the churches approached me to help her, I never hesitated. I hope she finds peace in God now," said Nelson.
A community member who witnessed the whole service said God has power to make things happen. She thanked the pastors for coming together to help Susan.
