ARREST OF DUBE MURDERERS VINDICATES IFP SUSPICIONS

The arrest of two men in connection with Sunday's assassination of the IFP Youth leader, have vindicated the IFP's assertion of a systematic campaign to eliminate its leaders before elections. This was said by IFP leaders today as thousands of mourners and senior leaders of the Party gathered at Mfekayi at Hluhluwe to pay their last respects at the funeral service of Shadrack Dube - the Chairperson of the IFP Youth Brigade in the Big 5 Municipality - who was gunned down on Sunday evening as he came back from buying airtime not far from his house at Phumlani Township, at Hluhluwe.

The police managed to arrest two suspects who are due to appear at the Mtubatuba Regional Court tomorrow morning.

Addressing the mourners, Mr Blessed Gwala - IFP Member of the Provincial Parliament and KwaZulu-Natal Deputy Chairperson of the IFP said the fourteen years of ANC rule have bequeathed to South Africa nothing but the ancient Gomorrah and Sodomah.

"Since the ANC took over government of this country fourteen years ago, South Africa has deteriorated and become like the ancient Gomorrah and Sodomah - which according to the Holy Book was destroyed in fire by God.

Like that old Gomorrah, the ANC government has contributed to immorality by promoting same-sex relationships and permitting children, as young as 12-years, not only to engage in premarital sex, but also to abort without even letting their parents know."

Gwala continued to accuse the ANC government of failing to bring about the much-talked about "better life for all." Instead, the country has become poorer, he said.

"When one looks around in KwaZulu-Natal, one is attracted to poverty, unemployment and crime all of which point to the failure of the ruling party to bring about change in their lives.

"The rapid decline in the Grade 12 results since the ANC assumed power does not surprise us since it proves that they have never had any clear policies to bring about change in education, After fourteen years, learners in this Province still attend schools that were built by the KwaZulu Government that was led by the President of the IFP. Very few, if any schools were built by the ANC government," said Gwala.
