The Party in the province aims to continue its programmatic approach to building working class hegemony across barriers, as well supporting the process of developing a Revolutionary Alliance programme of action going into the 2016 Local Government elections based upon unity and the struggle to emancipate our people from the DA government in the Western Cape. Post Conference, we find guidance in the words of Comrade OR Tambo, addressing the 60th Anniversary of the Party: “Our alliance is a living organism that has grown out of struggle. We have built it out of our separate and common experiences.” (OR Tambo at the 60th Anniversary of the SACP in London, 1981)
