Operations at the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in KwaDukuza, KwaZulu-Natal, came to a halt on Tuesday following an early morning robbery.
The robbers made off with 18 computers and a company vehicle after they held up security guards at gunpoint.
KZN police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane said a case of robbery had been opened.
"The complainant alleged that on June 25 at 01:00, he and his colleagues were performing their duties as security guards at the business premises when they were accosted by five men," Zwane added.
