Daily Sun (September 8 2014) - HE THOUGHT he'd killed her when he fired six shots through the toilet window. Sibongile screamed in pain as bullets hit her breasts, hands and head. BUT SHE WAS TOO STRONG FOR HER EX-BOYFRIEND'S VICIOUS ATTACK!
This is what the aunt of Sibongile Mvula (35), from Orlando East in Soweto, told Daily Sun.
She said Sibongile ran to the back room toilet when she saw her ex-boyfriend's car arrive at her house on Monday afternoon. Sibongile thought she would be safe in there, and prayed the man wouldn't hurt her son playing outside at the time. But then her boyfriend allegedly opened the window and shot her through it!
Her aunt, Sibongile Buthelezi (53), said: "I got a call from her 12-year-old son who said his mum had been hurt.
"I ran there and when I arrived they were rushing her to hospital in a car. "He was trying to kill her. I know that, because after he shot her he called her friend and told her that he'd killed Sibongile.
"He'd threatened to do it before but we didn't think it would go this far." Sibongile had kicked the man out of her home, but he wouldn't accept that their relationship was over. The strong woman is still fighting for her life in hospital, and Buthelezi said it broke her heart to see Sibongile suffering like this.
