ANC ON CRAWFORD-BROWNE'S LUDICROUS PRESENTATIONS

The African National Congress finds the statements being made by Terry Crawford-Browne before the Seriti Commission as laughable and incredulous. During the course of this week, Crawford-Browne has demonstrated before the nation at large that he is a pathological liar who is a liability to himself and any shred of credibility he may still have.

Having won his long-waged battle to provide evidence of his claims of massive corruption in the procurement of the strategic defence package; he clearly has nothing to present to the Commission to back up the claims and has instead resorted to tarnishing the good names of leadership of the ANC and its Alliance Partners.

Terry Crawford-Browne is not the first to attempt to besmirch the ANC and its leadership with ludicrous accusations with the intention to divide our organisation and tarnish its image. He too shall be a monumental failure as he has nothing to offer expect for old wives' tales that have no place in the important work being done by the Seriti Commission to uncover the credible truth about the so-called Arms Deal. The ANC calls upon South Africans to close ranks against this attempt to rewrite history, particularly where the leadership being accused is no longer around to speak for itself.
