The African National Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal commends the police for arrest of two suspects for the murder of Comrades Dumisani Malunga and Bheko Chiliza.

According to reports, the two men were aged between 20 and 30, were arrested at Oshabeni less than 24 hours after our comrades were gunned down.

"We praised the police for the arrests and we urge the police to work hard to ensure that the killers are convicted," said ANC Provincial Spokesperson, Senzo Mkhize.

Oshabeni Branch Chairperson, Dumisani Malunga, and Secretary, Bheki Chiliza, were shot and killed whilst driving, after attending an ANC meeting this past Sunday night (09 September 2012).

The ANC denounces the killing of our comrades and call on the public to volunteer information, which will help the law enforcement agencies to put a stop to this scourge.
