IFP Wins Ulundi by-election!

IFP KZN Publicity Secretary, Mr Sbu Nkwanyana, expressed his delight in winning the by-election, which took place in Ulundi yesterday. The election had been strongly contested by both the ANC and the NFP.

"We are very happy to win this by-election. It bodes well for all upcoming by-elections in KZN. It certainly is a sweet victory considering all the resources and time that both the NFP and the ANC invested in this ward. It proves that the IFP, with its limited resources, can defeat a combined ANC/NFP onslaught," Nkwanyana said.

"I congratulate my colleague, Sindisiwe Khumalo, on this victory and I urge her to join hands with all the other IFP councillors in the Ulundi Municipality by serving the best interests of the people of Ulundi," concluded Nkwanyana.
