"Yes you CAN Bafana!" - Daily Sun

The front page and lead story of SA's largest daily newspaper, September 6 2013

Daily Sun (September 6 2013) -IT'S NOW or never for Bafana Bafana as they face Botswana in their crucial 2014 World Cup Qualifier in Durban tomorrow. It is quite simply the biggest test for Gordon Igesund's team since he took the reins a year ago today.

If Bafana loses, the World Cup dream is lost also . . . If they win, Mzansi's hopes lie with CAR, who will be playing against Ethiopia at the same time.

No one said the Road to Brazil would be easy for our team led by captain Itumeleng Khune. Even if Bafana make it through the weekend, the biggest challenges would still lie ahead.

Our advice to Igesund and his lads is this: Forget about CAR and Ethiopia and FOCUS on your game.

We know you can do it . . . get the basics right and score every time you get a chance.

The Zebras CAN be beaten!

The nation is right behind you, so . . . GO FOR IT BOYS!
