Premier Zille again exposed for lining her pockets at the cost of the people
COSATU is calling on Premier Zille as a share holder in Pick n Pay to declare, whether or not she supports the retrenchment of more than 3000 workers at Pick n Pay. The government has an important role to play in defending and creating jobs for the people of the country and as such the Premier is obligated to defend the jobs of all workers. To now have the Premier being silent on the biggest job losses in the country because it will make her wealthier as a shareholder is unacceptable.
This greed of Zille and the other share holders at the cost of thousands of jobs, is no different from Zille taking 2 incomes for her job as Premier, this is the motivation for her Positions in public service. The DA and Premier Zille is like the worst of SA politicians who are seduced by the money and greed, and not the service of the people
COSATU calls on Premier Zille to speak out in defence of the Pick and Pay workers and their jobs. We call on her to sell her shares in the company should it not want to protect the workers jobs.
