The EFF rejects the notion that everything in South Africa will go wrong when everything goes wrong with the ANC

The Economic Freedom Fighters rejects Jacob Zuma's notion that our country will go down if the ANC goes down. Addressing the ANCYL congress last night Zuma said, "Now I can guarantee that if everything goes wrong with the ANC, everything will go wrong with this country." He added that, "there are many people who will want the ANC to disappear and they are trying everything, because there's no alternative" (see City Press online report).

The EFF is of the view that South Africa will be safe the day the ANC is out of government. This is because the ANC is a corrupt organization that is doing everything in its power to protect corrupt individuals, including Jacob Zuma. As things stand the ANC is ready to undermine the constitution of South Africa in defense of these individuals who are criminally looting peoples resources daily.

South Africa will indeed be safe when the ANC goes down because it is a party that protects capital interests with the willingness to massacre poor workers like they did in Marikana. The safety of the country precisely lies in removing a gang of criminals who are doing the everything to undermine and perpetuate the exploitation of our people and undoing their dignity everywhere.

Jacob Zuma's statement is the clearest indication yet of his day dreams and fantasies of becoming the permanent leader of South Africa. It expresses a man who wishes to be a dictator, because all dictators deeply feel like things cannot happen without them. Millions of poor South Africans go through their lives everyday without any help from the ANC. They remain homeless, unemployed, without healthcare, sanitation and at the mercy of white monopoly capital.

South Africa is actually going down due to the ANC. This is the reason why many people are hopeful of the EFF and its birth, because it now represents the aspirations of the poor and majority of South Africans.

The EFF is unapologetic and can say this without any fear whatsoever that it wants the ANC to disappear, and add that it must disappear because it is a long cold and terrorizing nightmare to our people.

The challenges that face South Africa cannot be resolved by the ANC's day dreams of being in power forever. The ANC has also proven in capable of transforming the country due to its cognitive dissonance around neoliberal policies that have kept the country trapped in a neocolonial enclave for the enrichment of white monopoly capitalism.

Zuma and his ANC gangsters must just admit that the writing is on the wall: EFF is a government in waiting.
