GRAND JURY DECISION ON POLICE BRUTALITY
The PAC is disappointed at the injustice perpetrated against African people in USA as exposed by the grand jury discussion on the police shooting in Ferguson. The violence inflicted on Michael Brown raised him to be the symbol of collective pain of Africans across the world. Police brutality on the African youth is condoned by globalised system, which is underpinned by white supremacy. Unfortunately, this injustice is not exclusive to New York.
The PAC observes individual heroes from African communities and personal cults have not had positive effect on the conditions of Africans. The injustice on the African community in the USA has not been reduced by having African in White House. In same manner that African heads of government had no impact on live of the African youth on the continent. Barrack Obama personal success has not trickled down effect on the African youth on the streets of New York or Chicago his home town. Like most African ascending to accolades of power, he stands as a spokesperson on anti-African system rather as ambassador of his kind. Obama calls for understanding of grand jury decision rather than asserting himself on the side of justice.
The PAC acknowledges that the cruel treatment of Africans affirms the need for economically and militarily strong continent-wide authority to represent their interest. Africans have no powerful government that can enforce justice on their behalf hence Africans remain international victims of injustice.
