Regrettably, a further 194 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported: Eastern Cape 8, Free State 29, Gauteng 43, Kwa-Zulu Natal 80, Limpopo 15, Mpumalanga 0, North West 0, Northern Cape 7 and Western Cape 12 which brings the total to 50 271 death

We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased patients.

Our recoveries now stand at 1 433 320, representing a recovery rate of 94,6%
