ANC GP CONDEMNS SHOOTING OF SATAWU SECRETARY

The African National Congress Gauteng Province condemns in the strongest and harshest possible terms, the shooting of SATAWU Gauteng Secretary Comrade Chris Nkosi last night. We call upon any person with information on the circumstances that led to this brutal crime to approach the law enforcement agencies.

Anyone found to have been responsible must be arrested and charged for justice to take its course. Criminality should never be tolerated, regardless of who the perpetrators or the victims are.

The ANC Gauteng Province sends its deepest condolences and sympathies to the Nkosi family, members and leaders of SATAWU. We join them in mourning the tragic and untimely loss of life of this servant of our people in general and transport workers in particular. Rest in peace Comrade Chris Nkosi.
