ANC YOUTH LEAGUE ACCEPTS THE APOLOGY OF COMRADE FIKILE MBALULA!

The ANC Youth League accepts the apology of Comrade Fikile Mbalula on the incident that was widely reported by various media houses over the past weekend. The humility and courage of Comrade Fikile Mbalula to accept that he erred and publicly apologised to his family, the ANC and country should be celebrated (see report).

The ANC Youth League's confidence in, trust and respect for Comrade Fikile Mbalula has been built over a very long time and will never fade due to the unfortunate incident. Comrade Mbalula is undoubtedly one of the best leaders of the ANC, a great Mobiliser and Organiser of the people of South Africa for progressive change. Comrade Mbalula gives energy and oomph to every responsibility assigned to him.

The ANC Youth League will forever hold Comrade Mbalula in high regard and will forever cherish his contribution to the ANC as National Organiser, ANC YL as a trusted, reliable former President, and to the country as a vibrant Minister of Sports. We hope that all South Africans will accept the apology he made and not pass unfair judgments. Let us all judge Mbalula according to his work, not on the fallability of his being, which he accepted and sincerely apologised on.
