Daily Sun (January 31 2014) - THE mlungus who live in the house don't mince words about their security. The sign that greets visitors says: "Violators will be shot, and survivors will be shot again"!

AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, THE HOUSE IS GUARDED BY . . . A COFFIN!

The wooden casket, complete with silver handles, stands against the wall in the yard of the house in central Brakpan, Ekurhuleni.

The appearance of the coffin has upset neighbours, as it's close to a school and children have to pass it.

But the white woman owner tells people who ask: "Black people are scared of my dogs and scared of the coffin. It keeps thugs away."

It appears that the coffin is actually a fake - there are shelves inside to allow it to be used as a bar.

Neighbours, however, complain that their kids are having nightmares about it since the mlungus moved in three months ago.

One told Daily Sun: "My daughter says she's scared to go and play outside. It brings bad luck."

Another complained her two sons come home running to get away from the "coffin house".

She said: "I want that coffin removed. We don't know these people's intentions, especially with that scary sign outside.

"How do we know one of us may not end up inside it?"

Yesterday the "coffin house" owner shared a joke with a group of passing mlungus, and opened up the coffin to show the shelves.

"See? Are you happy now," she said.
