The Gauteng Health Department should support the criminal charges laid by a female paramedic who was allegedly assaulted at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital by Mr Justice Ngalonkulu, the ANC’s Johannesburg Election Head.
According to reports, he assaulted Shalati Mushwana when she asked him to move his car out the way after she had treated and transported his injured brother to the hospital‘s casualty last Saturday.
Mushwana says he swore at her, beat her on the shoulder and chest while threatening to get her fired, and said he was trying to get hold of Gauteng Health and Wellness MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko. She also suffered a hand injury.
The disturbing thing is that Mushwana laid assault charges against him at the Diepkloof police station, but she claims that men driving expensive cars were at the station pointing her out as the one who lay charges against their comrade.
