DA retains outright majority in Western Cape

The DA is proud to announce that it retains the Western Cape after a hotly contested National and Provincial Elections.

The final results, although not yet declared by the IEC, shows that the DA retains the province with a 55% outright majority.

We are, therefore, very pleased to announce that Alan Winde will remain the Premier of the Western Cape, and will soon put together a government that will continue its work to make a difference in the lives of all residents in the Western Cape.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every voter in the Western Cape for their continued trust and support. We recognize that there is much work still to be done, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to serve every resident of our province.
