DOCTORS NOT PAID AT JABULANI HOSPITAL

A crisis is developing at the newly opened Zola Jabulani Hospital in Soweto as doctors there have not been paid.

This past weekend there were no doctors on duty and patients were diverted elsewhere.

The hospital has been dogged by controversy after long building delays, and then a rushed opening shortly before the elections.

It's really a pity that management problems are crippling this new hospital which is needed to take the strain off the over-crowded Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

New Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu must step in and ensure that all staff are paid in time at this hospital.
