DEPUTY HEAD RESIGNS FROM THE UNIT

The Special Investigating Unit wishes to announce that the Deputy Head of the Unit, Mr Faiek Davids, has decided to resign from the Unit, with effect from 31 December 2013.

Mr Davids has served the Unit with dedication for many years. The Head of the Unit, Adv Vas Soni will especially miss the support he received from Mr Davids since he took office on 1 October 2013.

Family commitments played an important role in his decision and that he wishes to pursue opportunities outside the Unit.

The SIU sends its deep appreciation to Mr Davids for his dedication and commitment to the Unit and its aspirations and takes this opportunity to wish him everything of the best in his future.
