McIntosh Polela dismissed from the SAPS

Former Colonel McIntosh Polela appeared before a disciplinary hearing committee and based on the seriousness of his misconduct, he was dismissed on 27 March 2013 in accordance with the SAPS Discipline Regulations (see report). The former member then appealed against the sanction. The Internal Appeals Authority of the SAPS confirmed the sanction against Polela on 8 May 2013.

The confirmation of the sanction by the Internal Appeals Authority of the SAPS was delivered to Mr Polela's attorneys on 16 May 2013 and receipt thereof was acknowledged.
