Refurbishment and Rehabilitation - R30 793 404

So far, an impressive 60 health facilities have been refurbished, underwent maintenance, or had repairs done. Areas like Macassar, Dunoon, Phillipi, Worcester, Caledon, Mitchells Plain, Hanover Park, Khayelitsha, and many more, have so far benefitted.

MPP Matlhodi Maseko said: “These refurbishments and repairs undertaken by the Department of Infrastructure comes on top of the almost R50 million renewable energy programme by the Department of Health where they aim to install solar-powered generators at various health care facilities across the Western Cape.

As loadshedding continues to batter and bruise health care facilities all across South Africa, the Western Cape Government is doing its best to safeguard its health care system, as our residents’ lives depend on it.”
