Ramaphosa too incompetent to solve any crisis – EFF

Fighters will not attend the Parliamentary Oral Reply Session to be addressed by constitutionally delinquent President

EFF will not attend the Parliamentary Oral Reply Session to be addressed by Cyril Ramaphosa

9 March 2023

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will not attend the Oral Reply to Questions Session, in which Constitutional Delinquent Cyril Ramaphosa will respond at the National Assembly on the 09th of March 2023.

Ramaphosa has demonstrated incapacity and incompetence to resolve any of the crises confronting South Africa, and has been persistent in his attempts to avoid genuine accountability and transparency, to the point of taking his own Parliament to court regarding his crimes at Phala Phala Farm.

It would therefore be tantamount to legitimizing corruption and the violation of our Constitution to give Ramaphosa an audience.

Since Ramaphosa's empty and directionless State of the Nation Address (SONA), he has been exposed as being part and parcel of massive tax evasion, through keeping 580 000 US Dollars which were smuggled into South Africa and onto his Phala Phala Farm, without any declaration to the South African Revenue Service (SARS) or the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). In the past few weeks, Ramaphosa has appointed a failure in Khumbudzo Ntshaveni as a Minister in the Presidency in charge of State Security and Intelligence, after she degenerated the Ministry of Communications and Digital Technologies.

In the face of 7 555 murders, and 12 419 cases of rape between October and December 2022, Ramaphosa has retained Bheki Cele as the Minister of Police. This has revealed his little regard for the wellbeing of the people of this nation, who bear the consequences of a lawless society. As the world grapples with the modernization that comes with the 4th Industrial Revolution, and the Communications space begins to take a central role in the trajectory of industry and global economies, Ramaphosa has chosen an empty vessel by the name of Mondli Gungubele who cannot operate virtual meeting platforms, to lead the Ministry of Communications and Digital Technologies.

As the levels of youth unemployment sit at above 60%, and young people surrender themselves to drugs and alcohol abuse, Ramaphosa has appointed a 74-year-old Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma as a Minister of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities.

After his commitments to reduce cabinet, Ramaphosa has expanded it and appointed a redundant Minister of Electricity who has to date provided no verifiable or workable plan to resolve the nation's energy crisis.

Cyril Ramaphosa has already provided an answer as to what is going to happen in various spheres of South African society at the level of governance, and that is seen through his commitment to appoint incompetent Ministers on the basis of factionalism and patronage.

The EFF refuses to legitimize the Ramaphosa regime of corruption, anti-constitutionalism and rolling electricity blackouts. We reiterate our call that Ramaphosa Must Resign Now!

All victims of massive unemployment, Gender Based Violence, loadshedding and crime, must join the EFF on the 20th of March 2023 to demand the return of electricity and the resignation of the money laundering Cyril Ramaphosa.

Cyril Ramaphosa must answer to our people on the picket lines, since he has chosen to militarize Parliament to suppress his political opponents.
