Tshwane: Time for the work to begin

18 October 2024

The GOOD Party would like to extend our congratulations to the newly appointed Tshwane Deputy Mayor the ANC’s Eugen Modise. He was elected unopposed at today’s special council meeting.

We are looking forward to seeing the positive impact Modise will make working alongside Executive Mayor, Nasiphi Moya.

The ability of the new executive to work collaboratively is essential to bring stability to the capital, improve service delivery and maintain financial recovery.

As GOOD, we will be working within the new Tshwane Mayoral Committee to ensure we create a spatially just and economically inclusive Tshwane.

We need to revitalise our city for the benefit of all residents.

As the new executive, we need to get started on the key priorities outlined by Mayor Moya: Safety and Security; Economic Development and Job Creation; Infrastructure Investment and Inclusive Service Delivery; Energy and Financial Sustainability; Good Governance and Responsive Public Services.

Our city has long been neglected. As GOOD we will work within the new coalition for the betterment of the people.
