Eastern Cape: 2014 provincial election results

ANC wins province with 70% of the vote, DA comes in second with 16,2% (with seat allocations)

The African National Congress has won the 2014 provincial elections with 70,09% of the vote. The Democratic Alliance came in second with 16,2% of the vote, followed by the United Democratic Movement with 6,16%, the Economic Freedom Fighters with 3,48%, COPE with 1,2% and the African Independent Congress with 0,77%.

In the 2009 provincial elections the ANC won 1,552,676 votes (68,82%), followed by COPE with 308 439 (13,67%), the DA with 225,310 (9,99%), the UDM with 93,196 (4,13%), and the AIC with 17,306 (0,77%) (see here).
