Defilement of Al Aqsa is a provocation of the Muslim world – MRN

Inability of mainstream western media to accurately describe Zionist colony as a front for US imperialism surprising

US-proxy Israel’s defilement of Al Aqsa is a provocation of the Muslim world

15 August 2024

Along with the occupied Palestinians, Muslims across the globe would certainly be angered and dismayed that Islam's sacred Masjid Al Aqsa has yet again been defiled by the settler colonial regime's racist rightwingers.

We are shocked but not surprised that Itamar Ben Gvir, a war criminal whose arrest warrant is being sought by the International Criminal Court, led the provocative raid on Al Aqsa in Jerusalem.

That he was accompanied by hordes of violent illegal Jewish settlers and senior members of the Polish immigrant Mileikowsky (known as Netanyahu) regime of murderers, speaks to the insidious policies of Zionism.

The repeated incursions into the prescints of Al Aqsa by Zionist leaders are in direct contravention of numerous UNSC resolutions as well as  International Law.

Clearly the evil goal of the current crop of war lords who are defined by their genocide in Gaza - now in its 11th month - is to succeed by "hook or crook" to reverse the Internationally recognised status of Al Aqsa.

As an outlaw regime deserving isolation and sanctions, it is shameful that western countries led by the United States have failed to live up to their much-vaunted commitment to democracy and justice.

Israel is neither a democracy nor just. For the West to pretend otherwise is to make a mockery of fundamental human rights.

However it is not surprising for it is in keeping with the status of Israel as a proxy of the West in the heart of the Muslim world.

What is surprising though is the inability of mainstream western media to accurately describe the Zionist colony as a front for US imperialism.

The settler colonial regime's vicious policies of apartheid, occupation and genocide, must be halted and overturned.
