EFF distances itself and condemns impersonations of Julius Malema in email scam

The Economic Freedom Fighters condemns in the strongest terms the criminal impersonation of EFF Commander In Chief and President Julius Malema, in an email scam, wherein an unknown individual attempts to solicit money utilising the Commander In Chief's name.

In a desperate attempt to swindle unsuspecting individuals, and email account bearing the name of the President of the EFF has been found to be soliciting money under the name of the leader of the EFF, with reference to such money being returned at a later stage.

The EFF states that the email [email protected], does not belong to CIC Julius Malema and is in no way or form associated with Deputy President Floyd Shivambu or the EFF. It is a cheap scam by desperate individuals who seek to use the name of the EFF leader to raise money for their own nefarious purpose.

We caution our people not to fall victim to cheap attempts at taking advantage of them, and that should there be any intention to fundraise or for a donation to be made to the EFF, this can be done through established organisational mechanisms.
