Matric 2015: Twenty-two schools obtain a 0% pass rate

The DA can reveal that 22 schools obtained a 0% pass rate in the 2015 National Senior Certificate examinations (NSC).
This is according to data extracted from the Department of Basic Education’s 2015 School Performance Report.
12 of the 22 schools that obtained a 0% pass rate are in KwaZulu-Natal, six in Gauteng, two in the Eastern Cape and one each in the Northern Cape and Limpopo. [see table below]
The number of 0% schools increased to 22 this year from 16 in 2014 and 9 in 2013.
